Tonight, Someone Will Be Turned Away

Every night at Unity Southeast Shelter, people experiencing homelessness come to our doors seeking safety, warmth, and a place to sleep.

Our shelter at 3421 E. Meyer Blvd. in Kansas City, led by Rev. Randy Fikki, can accommodate up to 80 guests each night, but because of limited funding, we currently have only 30 beds available.

That means every night, vulnerable men and women face the possibility of being turned away.
