Unity Southeast in Kansas City is committed to providing a safe, welcoming place for our unhoused neighbors every single night
Location — 3421 E. Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64132
Leadership — Reverend Randy Fikki launched the shelter inside the church and continues to coordinate nightly operations in partnership with the city.
Capacity — We can serve up to 80 guests each night, though current funding supports only 30 shelter beds.
Purpose — To offer a safe, dignified space for individuals seeking overnight shelter.
Access — Doors open nightly on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
Impact — Every guest who walks through our doors is reminded that they matter, they are seen, and they are cared for.
Unity Southeast’s ongoing commitment reflects our belief in compassion, dignity, and community support. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of those experiencing houselessness.
You may wonder: Does my small gift matter? It does. One meal. One blanket. One safe bed. Your gift provides immediate survival tonight.
You may ask: Will my donation truly reach someone in crisis? Yes. We work directly with the city during extreme weather. Every dollar goes to shelter, food, and essential supplies — nothing wasted.
You may think: I can’t give much. Even $5 can mean a hot meal for someone who hasn’t eaten in days. That’s the impact of your generosity.
“Don’t let tonight be their last night.”
If you can’t give financially, you can still help. Donate new or gently used clothing, unopened underwear, or non‑perishable food. Every item restores dignity and comfort. Drop-off every night 8pm-10pm and Sundays 9am-12pm
For every guest who walks through our doors, your support is the difference between hopelessness and humanity.
Be the reason someone survives tonight.
